Be recognised as one of Australia’s top future graduate talents and you might see your face in the Australian Financial Review. You’ll get a taste of a full graduate recruitment process – even putting you in front of some of Australia’s top employers for interviews! The Top100 Awards is a truly unique experience to develop your application skills, communication skills, and personal branding to give your career a head start before you even graduate.

What’s involved?

There are 5 stages in the application process, which is very similar to what you will find when applying to graduate programs.

  • Application Form
  • Psychometric Testing
  • Video Interview
  • Assessment Centre – this is run in Sydney in February 2020. If you make it to this stage, Grad Connection will fly you to Sydney for the event.
  • Awards Night – this is where you find out if you have won!

La Trobe will recognise your involvement in the Top 100 Leader competition. The application form, psychometric testing, video interview, and assessment centre all count as Career Portfolio items for your Career Ready Advantage Award. So make sure you record completion of each stage of the process via our workflow in CareerHub.
